Bonvicino is located 10 minutes from the town of Dogliani which is famous for Dolcetto wine, recognized in 2006 with it's own DOCG Dogliani based on it's outstanding characteristics and terroir specific to this red grape variety.  In Dogliani you can find everything you will need during your stay including a wonderful outdoor market on Tuesday's and Saturday's, as well as stores that offer the region's finest meats, vegetables, cheeses, and wines.

The beginning of the world famous Barolo zone is just 15 minutes from the Villa beginning in the hilltop hamlet of Monforte d'Alba which leads to Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, La Morra, and Serralunga d'Alba, all wonderful towns surrounded by vertiginous vineyards facing in all directions and producing the world famous Barolo wine made with the Nebbiolo grape variety and known as the king of wines and the wine of kings.  Alba and Bra are the large cities which are located between 30-40 minutes from the Villa.  There is lots of shopping to be done in these towns and Alba hosts the White Truffle Festival during October and November each year.  White truffles can be found all over the langhe hills, in particular, in Bonvicino and the nearby countryside.  We look forward to welcoming you to this unique and special part of the world.
